Night Shoots
Photo Fest is all about photography, and that means getting outside to shoot! And as it happens, we have a few night photography experts on hand, ready to bring you out after dark for some low-light fun. The shoots below are available to all ticketed attendees as part of the conference ticket.
Ghost Shoot
With Gabrield Biderman, B&H Photo
Wednesday, October 21 · It’s the week before Halloween, so we’re sure to see ghosts about, right? Well, you will if you join this shoot with night photographer Gabriel Biderman, who will be at Photo Fest representing B&H Photo. Join Gabe on the first evening of the conference to create images of specters.

Light Painting Demonstration & Shoot
with Kevin Adams & Chris Nicholson
Thursday, October 22 · One problem with night photography is that it’s so dark outside! That’s OK—just add a little of your own light. Carolina-based night photographers Kevin Adams and Chris Nicholson will walk you through how to light paint outdoors after dark. Bring your camera and tripod and get ready to light the night.
